You may be tested on line to assess your mental ability and capabilities
A comprehensive interview is conducted for short listed candidates by a panel. You may have the opportunity to discuss all that you know with the panel and ask any question bordering your mind.
- ASSESSMENT DAY
The selection day is designed to give us a realistic picture of you and your abilities – to find out exactly what makes you tick and see if you possess the innovative drive and ambition to help propel Pro-J Media to greater heights. Just as importantly, it will also give you an insight into the way we work and give you the opportunity to meet some of our senior leaders as well as our current graduates.
During the group exercises, it may be difficult to voice your opinion with one or more candidates trying to do the same thing, but make sure you get your point across and give your input. If you do not contribute to the group discussion and say nothing, then we don’t have any evidence to rate you on for that exercise.
Build up an understanding of the business and your business area of interest in advance. While this is an important part of the recruitment process, try not to get too stressed about it, and don’t forget to smile.
We can’t stress this enough. There is no point in simply telling us what you think you should be saying or learning answers by heart. We hire people because we believe their personality will flourish here, so pretending to be someone you’re not won’t do you any favours.
BE ENGAGING & ENTHUSIASTIC!
Take your time answering questions; don’t be afraid of a short silence while you think about your best example. A brief, well-thought-out answer is best. If you’re unclear about the question being asked, then ask for it to be repeated so you understand the question and can then answer it accordingly.
We avoid using closed or leading questions. You should answer each question honestly and realistically. Give us the answers that reflect your thoughts and your individual experience of life. That is the only way we can accurately establish if you are the right fit for Pro-J Media and vice versa, just let the conversation describe you.
